I am saving 20% on my electric bill using this electric capacitor type device. It will be paid off in less than one year. I found a great electrician in the Pocono area and will travel up to 45 minutes in PA to do an install. He will not go to Jersey as local codes may require special permits. The cost is only $480.00 total.

"This is Hal Waeglarz calling from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We had a Power-Save 1200 installed in our home about a month ago and I'm just calling to thank you folks enormously because our kilowatt usage, according to this bill, is down almost 900 kilowatt hours already. Our total usage is 2135 kilowatt hours, last month it was 2949, and it has not been any warmer here. I also stress tested this thing (the Power-Save 1200) against what we did a year ago and it's down substantially from about 150 kilowatt hours per day and now we're down to 76-77 per day. I mean, this thing has performed well beyond what I had anticipated. I just wanted to thank you guys very much."

 Bob Kleebauer has realized extraordinary savings using his Power-Save 1200 energy saver.

"On March 24th, 2006 I had a Power Save 1200 installed on my circuit panel in my Baltimore Maryland home. My home is about 2200 Square feet and is a townhouse. My February/March utility bill used 1542 Kwh. My March/April bill had 1272 Kwh usage, and although I only had the Power Save 1200 on my circuit panel for 19 days in the March/April billing period, I used 270 less Kwh that month. Then, the next billing period really told the tale. The April/May bill only had 1002 Kwh usage, and I ran the A/C a couple of days that reached the 80's outside. So even with the same operation going on in our house, using everything the same, I estimated that I am averaging about 400 less Kwh a month because of the Power Save 1200...

I have seen prices rise 600% for natural gas in the past 9 years. This product is a real winner."

"I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about your product, as an electrical engineer friend introduced me to Power-Save a few months ago...

 While I was testing the unit, I had my friends present. I tested the product on the load side, and I found no difference in the amperage draw to my A/C unit on the circuit conductors directly from the breaker to it. At first, I was disgruntled. After settling down and thinking about what I had just done, I realized my error and clamped my Fluke meter on the mains directly behind the meter registering current draw at the line side of the load center....and BINGO!!!!

On start up, the A/C unit went up to 91 amps and leveled out at 13 without the Power Save 1200 on. When the Power Save unit was engaged it was a draw of 35 amps and leveled out at 8.75. That pretty much blew everyone away! After that, I tested everything with a motor load in my house. I was astonished at the significant reduction in amperage.

I have had, in addition, a lot of customers complaining of bad power spikes, sags, and all kinds of irregularities from their utilities which could benefit from the unit."

"Just a quick note to let you know how shocked I was to find that your Power Save 1200, is everything you said it was and more. I had the unit installed on a disconnect switch so I could check the actual power usage with and without the Power Save 1200 in service. I am cooling 2800 sq. ft. with seven tons of A/C Heat Pump equipment. We observed an immediate drop of 6 amps under an approximant 50% load. This represents a 16% savings. Extrapolation tells me if I use this equipment 60% of the time, I will save $42.00 each month. Which gives me a payout in 7.5 months and then pure savings? Please keep in mind that this is the savings attributed to the Heat and Cooling under Approx 50% loaded equipment only. As the summer wears on and the load to increase, I expect the savings to grow. Please keep me informed of any further improvement or additional equipment that addresses the power reduction solutions."

We thought you'd like some data on the savings we are seeing with our Power-Save setup at Elevations in Scotrun.

first six months of 2008: $13,983 in PP&L costs

first six months of 2009: $12,852

which is a savings of $1131, or $188/month.

We just got our invoice for May-June 2009 and it was $400 less than the same invoice in 2008!

I know you went through a lot to get our site configured to take advantage of this technology, and it is clearly paying off.  Thank you!

Also, FYI, we have joined the Chamber of Commerce Electricity Buying Group through Direct Energy to hopefully keep things under control when the PP&L rate caps come off on January.
